Zonealarm Features??

Dear friends,

you guyz always helped me..now i need your help again..
i'm using Zone Alarm Security Suite 6.1.744 from one year. But still dont know about its many features.. I use only Anti-virus/spam, email protection, PRIVACY Features(cookie, ad blocking, mobile code). How can i know that i'm browsing safe?? and safe from hackers and virus. What is the use of others??? Please tell me about these features:

*FIREWALL (MAIN/zONES/EXPERT)
*PROGRAM CONTROL
*ID LOCK
*IM SECURITY
*PARENTAL CONTROL
*ALERTS & LOGS


I use Opera 9, Trillion,Incredimail, yahoo, rediff messenger with win XP SP2 with 512 MB ram. I dont browse porn sites and bazee but sometime craking site and downloadable muzic site (masti4india). i use Reliance LG mobile for net connection @ 115 KBps.

zass default settings r good enuff. u r safe ! the first line of defense against any internet attacks, is the firewall, and za has a GREAT one ! i'v been using (earlier) zass 4 over a year. if u want detailed description of each, its help-file is where u shud b looking. else tell me specefically, what u wanna know.

there are difrnt kinds of "firewall" dude.

some are big, PC sized machines, some are 5-20mb programs and the others are 500kb programs. v usually deal with the second type.

the first type are know as hardware firewalls. These are grat big hefty things which have ROMS inside dedicated to sifting though network traffic, and stopping anything that could be nasty from entering the rest of the network.

the 2nd kind aresoftware dynamic firewalls. they are the best and cheapest method for keeping unwanted nasties out of your pc. BlackICE, ZoneAlarm, Sygate are considered some of the finest in this category.

the third r poorly formed port blockers. not of much use.
