    Hi Guys,

Greetings ! I am in a dilemma as to which way to go considering so many newer brands and established throwing away new musical speakers too often.

Help me in deciding : Budget as low as feasible with crisp diaglouge and good music. ( Up to 10K INR)

Z-623/M-10 vs Obage DT-2624/HT-301 !! are they comparable ? Hook to TV for movies and Youtube videos.

I would have wanted 5.1 - but wiring is difficult and wireless out of budget.

    Suggestions welcome .

I own M10, i can suggest you not to go for it if you plan to hook it up to a TV.
Its for close listening on a desk. Its volumes arent loud enough for laid back tv viewing.

Distance of 4-5 feet is fine, but you will need to crank volume all the way up. All my complaints could be because i use standard motherboard output instead of a DAC/AMP but it goes without saying M10 is not a loud speaker setup. Sound quality is crisp af though.

Thanks again. Ordered z-623. Though I heard it lacks bit of vocal clarity... Let's see how it fares.

Z625 has S/PDIF input but Z623 doesn't. That's the only difference. I have read Sony PS4 can be used with this option.

I got for 7999 from Amazon.

Since 623 has 2 years warranty compared to 625's 1 year warranty, so it provides more peace of mind.

Since my TV or other devices don't have optical, so that kinda a tilted towards 623.

Wow I was not aware of warranty reduction. Good purchase. Post a small review if possible.

I got the speakers delivered yesterday - Here are the observations
    1) Low freq - Bass is good - its thumping and boomy - Mind it its not punchy !! - so not fit for Music ( only few Punjabi / Bass based songs might sound good ( which lacks guitar/treble components )).
    2) Vocals are clear - its not that muddy as I was suspecting - specifically meant for Movie watching ( action genres ( James bond type :) ).
    3) Upto 70% volume sound is bearable -after that all hell breaks loose -everything gets unclear.
    4) Not at all for Music - no balance b/w treble / bass - for music it has to be kind of neutral - with punch bass and boomy for each moment in the song.
    5) Jazz / Blues / Clear gazals / Bollywood is like - Vocal + bass ( no other musical instrument you would be able to discern ) - Extremely important to have a good player ( with DSP - as these speakers can't reproduce in its natural state ).

Might be good with AMP/DAC - but since I don't have so can't test - all my testing was on Mobile ( 320 / flac / fhd dolby ) connected via aux / Bluetooth ( slightly better ) and on Vu TV :(.

However if you have a solution to play or improve its output please share - like buying a cheap player ( upto 5-6 k) or replacing this whole unit with something else.

Now I am again at square one - where to go :(.

Need as system which is good for music and movies simultaneously - budget increased to 25k - please suggest.

Hey if its bad its bad, DAC will improve quality but not as much as you are expecting. You should never use AMP on a powered speaker which has it's own AMP.

Refer to buying guide in /r/Zeos for high end speakers since u have a budget of 25k.

How are they?Is the sound enough when used with TV(I mean distance wise because Swans M10 sound output is good for PC when you are sitting in front but not as much for TV when you will not be sitting as near as PC)?
