y iz my monitor going all blue and red!?

For the past few days my monitor is being filled with red and blu streak lines. The actual content on the screen is visible. Actually even as i type this the streaklines have appeared back. There appears to be no apparent frequency or time of use after which these lines appear. Last night I used the computer for 11 hrs at a streach without the lines appearing even once. But today the lines appeared after just a few minutes of computer usage.
Can anybody please tell me what the problem might be and how much is the service guy expected to charge to fix this thing, assuming that this can only be fixed by a professional.
I own a 15" Samsung Smtron 5Ei monitor.

Theres this IC in the monitor that is causing this error.

I once bought a Samsung 56V and the next day the monitor went pink, then this samsung guy came over and replaced some IC ans it all works fine now.

You need to call the Samsung Service Center.
