XP Service Pack 1 install problem

I have Windows XP prof.

I want to install XP Service Pack 1.

But when I install SP1, the system doesn't support that. It says your windows XP key was wrong.

What i have to do?

hummm... do u have a legal version windows... as the pirated one will not allow u to install any service pack...

As Sauvar said, a legal copy of windows will do. get one yourself.

I'm Sure you would be getting error similar to "The product key used to install Windows is invalid"

just a sec. windows xp with sp1 is a seperate cd. that cd has a seperate key only. why ont u install that windows? u need to repair ur windows, okay?
try that once n get back to same place.
