xbox vs p4

xbox with a configuration of 733mhz p3,geforce 3,64 mb ram is able to render frames at a much faster rate than a p4 2.4ghz,fx5200,256mb ram such as games as halo.They run at full specs in xbox but not in pcs with the above configuration.how is this possible

In xbox, the graphics are rendered to run at 640x480 resolution for the TV

even a geforce 3 is capable of doing tht

but just c the specs of xbox2/ps3 ..!!

a PC has other taks running.so the game does not get the complete resources

PC is a PC.... XBOX is an XBOX,a dedicated playing device....
what the use of these comparisons.....yuuucks.....

it is example of specialization vs generalization. xbox is specialzed pc ( to say)

even 300 MHz cpu is enough for specialized task.
