Bad to the bone
I use Acer 4520 laptop and dual boot it with Linux Mint and XP. I also have Airtel broadband and Netgear 614 router. I am facing a rather strange problem.

After configuring the wireless with the resource CD I am unable to connect to the router (wireless) in XP. It says "Network not found". However it works seamlessly if I am booting into Linux!!! In fact my mobile also connects to wireless network without any trouble.

Any ideas?

ok....u did see wireless network avaiable rite?BUT NOT ABLE to connect...then in this case u have to remeber the default gateway of router...yes the IP thru whichh u configured ur router..example like thiS in many routers:192.168.1.1

now when u see wireless network in ur lisT...then go to properties of the network...change the IP addreSS of this connection...
make it accordingly to ur router IP add..if itS 192.168.1.1
then u can usE 192.168.1.2 sUbnet mask ll appear automatically and put defaut gateway aS ur router iP address in thiS casE 192.168.1.1
remember firST three part musT match so that u can be in sAme network..

try thiS....
