Some days ago ,I off the "simple file sharing" of windowsXP.As a result i got a new tab call "security" on the file propertis menu. from that menu i disallow some user to read/write of some files. After that for any reason i reinstall my windows xp.Now the problem start i can't read/write thouse files from any user (from administrator also). Is there any way to bypass that security Or any other path to retrive thouse files.Pls help.

Did u tried the same process again, by Turning off the Simgle file share and then use the Permission area to allow every one to access time files ??

Just a Note, Thought u have tried it by ur self but just asking u again, Log in to Windows Using Root admin, (user name, Administrator,) and follow this process (opposite of it actually ) to asign user rights to every to access ur drive,

please note, X$ (where X is the drive later) is the default share :)
