I got windows 2000 prof. and linux red9 on my pc.But suddenly windows could not boot but linux is doin well.wat to do?

What is the error you are receiving . Is windows being displayed in the bootloader . and if so at what stage does windows stop booting . before answering my queries you can try one option . if windows is shown in the bootloader select windows and press enter . immediately press f8 a list of options will be shown select the last known good configuration .

Do you get the grub for the OS choice or not
You can do 2 things:
1)Install grub in the rescue mode using the Linux Boot Cd
2)If this doesnt work,boot from WinXP cd and go to rescue mode and execute the command fixboot.Note this will disable grub and then you will be able to boot only in windows
