windows desktop sharing

Hi

I have windows vista home basic on my laptop..

I want to access a laptop at my hometown
which has windows 7 ultimate ..

any suggestions on how i can access that system?

i tried teamviewer but it was not working

on the laptop having windows 7 ultimate ..

as that laptop is behind some firewall i guess

but u have to enable the remote desktop in destination laptop also...

RDP is possible only if one has the following .
1. VPN
2. Static IP
3. Modem/Router configured to DynDNS or similar services.

One negative point about RDP is its only available in professional and ultimate versions.

You can use various remote support services such as logmeinrescue.com, gosupportnow.com etc.
