Windows Blinds doesn't work

I installed windows blinds and tried to apply the themes from the Appearance tab on my winxp machine, but the appearance changes to classic and the theme i selected doesn't work. Do I need to install some other software also with windowsblinds?

I am now using the vista transformation pack but it is too heavy on my system even after disabling the sidebar and glassxp (or something)

Though it looks good. Also while installing vista transformation pack, i get
file not found" error dialog thrice. Though after clicking on the ok buttons, there doesn't seem to be any problem.

Which version of Windowblinds did u install?

If u've installed the cracked/pirated version then in all probability it won't work,as WB5 has a lot of internal software checks.

I don't use cracked software. There are quite a lot of free and good quality software available (try vista transformation pack) for me to stoop to something cheap like piracy. I was just curious about the fame of winblinds and tried out the shareware (or is the demo) version
