Broken In
My brother's pc is acting weird. On start up the windows 7 start up screen loads with all the blue red green and yellow balls hovering and then swooping down to the WIndows logo.And then nothing...the mouse arrow is there but all I can get is a black screen. The monitor is on and so is the CPU. System restore cannot be accessed. Trying to do a system repair with the Windows 7 CD also has no effect. On restarting on safe mode the same thing happens. After the Windows is starting up screen it turns black and then nothing. I checked the BIOS and checked all the cables and also cleaned the innards of the pc and also put in a fresh coat of thermal paste to the processor. But there is no change in the functioning of the pc. I cant even back up since the computer does not start. What can be done?
