Wifi Router (Budget 1000-2000)

Hi,

I am in look out for a Wifi Router for a 1BHK house, from 1000-2000, Preferably with a dual band support.

Usage : Cable Internet

Also open to buying from online ecommerce websites.

Check b/g/n models in Flipkart. Possibly, get a TP Link model with USB support. ac routers will cost more than 2k

Get only AC router now,don't waste money on N routers.Cheapest AC routers now cost below 2k.

Netgear R6080, R6120 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Routers Launched in India Starting at Rs. 2,700

Saw the above on Gadgets 360. Not sure about the quality and performance.

Netgear is not known for making good budget models especially ones that cost less than 8-9k.Below 5k best options are tplink or dlink or maybe asus(if willing to compromise on features to get better support with custom firmwares).
