Why am I not able to attachment of file

When i am trying a attachment of file on email account at that time i could not able for attachment of file. my pc is in wireless network for use of internet. OS- XP, I-explorer. If any type of setting is there than please tell me.

Make sure u dont have any Firewall turned on blocking ur accesss

Also some of the e-mail providers prevent you from attaching .exe files for the fear of virus. So they will not be attached.
