Talk to the hand!!!
I have been gaming for the past 11 years with a KB+Mouse on the PC but the gaming experience has been cr@ppy for the past few years(mostly due to the fact that most games are console ports) so I am thinking of ditching the KB+Mouse for a controller. I need suggestions from you guys as to which controller to go for?
I need a wireless controller which would work best for a variety of genres. I understand that some gamepads work best for racing only and some for flight simulator games while there is a small percentage which are best for shooters. Below are the type of games I like:
FPS/TPS shooter: Virtually every singleplayer out there as well as multiplayer over lan and Garena/Hamachi VPNs,
Racing: NFS Most wanted multiplayer only and SP for small amounts of time.
Hack N slash RPGs: Only those which are suggested by friends.
I have played with a sony dual shock controller only once or twice on a PS2 for Burnout Dominator and Prince of Persia T2T so I am not completely familiar with them.
Budget: 3k. willing to spend more if it is really really worth it.
Platform: For PC only
Type: Wireless only.
