I have tried it, not very responsive for sure. But if say my mother decides to drive, I will consider giving her an AMT instead of MT. Price premium is like 40-50k vs 1 lakh for even torque converter or CVT.

OK....so AMT is not as good as AT.
Is DCT better than CVT ? I see DCT in high end model a lot.

DCT is in high end because it's good but expensive.

AMT is like having a motor to change gears on a MT. By AT, I think it's generally a torque converter. Many people don't like the rubber band effect of CVT.
