which RAM supports my mother board

my mother board model is : INTEL D915GVWB/D910GLDW
presently my RAM is : 256MB PC 266 HYNIX (this is writen on the RAM)

which type (DDR1 0r 2.....) of RAM will my mother board support and can i use the 512MB RAM 333 or 400 simultaneously with my present RAM...plz tell in detail...

You have DDR1 Ram.
You can use DDR1 512 RAM with the current one.. But it will operate @266Mhz only since you have another running at 266Mhz.

which DDR1 512 @333 or 400.....someone told me that if u dont use same freqency then motherboard or RAM will go.....

well guys i have asus p5glmx mobo.it says it supports upto 4gb of unbuffered non ecc 400/333 mhz ddr dimms.

well then i wont be able to install ddr2 rams isnt it??

yup.. ur mobo wont support ddr 2 ram..
