Which one to buy?

I want to buy a digital camera.I have narrowed down to 2 models-sony w50 and canon a540.Which one of these is better?What will be cost of 1GB sd and mmc card?

i think sony w50 does not support sd and mmc card .. it has memory stick which is costly ..
