I need a good monitor around this price. I have selected 2 monitors, you can either choose one or give me a better third option within this price band.

That LG Monitor has 1440*900 resolution (weird 16:10 aspect ratio). Samsung one is 1366*768p.
I'd never choose below 1080p. If you don't mind a TN panel, get AOC E2228SWN from mdcomputers (link). As per the listing it has only one VGA port.
