im a first year comp science engineerin student...nd i love programming.....
i have abt 1.5 months break now nd wud like to utilize dis break to learn a new language.....ive already done C,C++,SQL,basics of VB...
so can sm1 tell me which language i should try to learn in dis free time???

CS guys have web designing projects in later years so you could do webdesign based course.. Ask some seniors about it.

Learn java(jdk 1.6) basics well. After that u can build on that. Also try to improve ur english.(give importance to speak).

dude maheshr is absolutely correct. If you have a poor language command then it will be quite tough for you get gud employment opportunities.......I am also planin to take language classese as i am nt gud at it at all
