Which G Skill DDR4 RAM to buy

Hi, I am confused by the various G Skill DDR4 RAM models available in the market. I have narrowed it down to either of the two -
1) 1*16 GB Aegis (G.Skill Gaming Series Aegis F4-2400C15S-16GIS 16GB DDR4)
2) 2 * 8 GB Ripjaws V (RipjawsV DDR4 F4-2400C15D-16GVR 16GB)

Both seem to have 10 years warranty. Aegis has no heat spreader and is the cheaper of the two.
Searching on the net, I could only find reviews of Ripjaws.

So if any of you could shed some light on which one to get, it would be really helpful.

My chosen motherboard supports DDR4 only (Gigabyte Z170X)

The Aegis is more of an entry level "fit and forget it" model. If you are not going to try your hands with overclocking, then aegis is good. But the model you have selected is only a single stick so for proper dual channel you will have to invest in another one.
I personally would go for the Ripjaws- dual channel and easier higher clocks.

BTW what price you are getting for the sticks.

ok, thanks both of you. I will be overclocking, so ripjaws V it is (2 * 8 GB). I am getting them for around 6000 bucks.

6k is a bit expensive for that kit. I think they were priced around the 5.1K mark... Don't quote me here, but i think i saw them cheaper than this
