Need to submit order by tomo. Main usage: surfing, music and typing stuff.

Dell Inspiron 1420/Dell Inspiron 1525

Budget is below 45k. Shld I got with 8400gs card to make it a bit future proof or its not needed. What abt the Vista basic performance on X3100? Thnx.

Go for the 1420. You ll get it earlier and cheaper. No need of the 8400gs if you don't game.

Is Dell 1420 also discontinued in India? I see a 1525 option instead of the 1420. the 1525 is at 35.9k.

has dell stopped giving 0% tax redemption? it's really costing me now.. was going dor XPS but tax is setting me back by about 9k! (delhi) :( :(

8400 is practically useless! Only helps in *NOT* sharing system memory, thats it.

If you wanna game get 8600 else stick with intel x3x00. No point in paying 3.5k for a crap gfx card! Aero runs fine on x3000.
