I have a compaq nx 6130... If all goes well, i will have a dual core laptop by in another 10 - 12 months.. but that's not important here..

I use sophos on my 256mb lappy... its quite good at detecting most trojans, but the problem is that you may have to download a removal tool once in a while..

eksplorasi.exe is a mass-mailing worm. i hope that u have been sucessful in removing it. kill eksplorasi.exe process and remove eksplorasi.exe from startup.

run ur ca av in safe mode and c if it helps.

avast would be a good choice of av for ur laptop, btw.

Personally i would not suggest Avast AV for LapTops.

My cousin had lot of probs. with Avast. The moment Avast was Un-installed, all the problems DISAPPEARED.
Probs. included.... very sllloooow system.

He owns Compaq M2000 (XP pro., 256 MB RAM)

see this thread.... *www.thinkdigit.com/forum/showthread.php?t=28758

Go for AVG or NOD32
