Ok this is incident occured when i was in my X standard laSt year(lovely schoool days )
I n my frnd participated for the science eXhiibition held by our local govt(nalgonda A.P) And the winners were taken to national and beyond contests.
Thing is that I saw some amazing inventions ,materials ,discoveries ,products whatever you say made by school students one really got me was a moon rover made by a girl .She showed total concept how it worked etc.. how it took pictures and the other stuff by a MODEL(rover model) just excellent And another stuff was (ya ,another girl) used two potatoes and lighted an LED ........many more i N frnd showed how the 100 $$ llappy could work and bring changes to our students life(yes, olpc or something ) we made a prototype not real one but was much close too real.and another project was how google earth works (my frnd). another was
what reasons and problem caused Colombia 11 (correct ?? ) crashed.KOOL??
MY QUESTION IS EXCEPT THESE eXellent findings JUDGES gave the prizes to two tvs and two cams showing each other (video conference they call it) how disgusting they don't even know this.they were amazed to see that and the judges even didnt know what is Google Earth , what a Tablet PC is and even what NASA is .I wont say i should be prized but .......
A boy showed two lappies connected them attached two head phones and trasferred one to second and sayed we can chat like this freely around the world (though he was sharing the vioce through LAN but his concept was to show that how messengers work) and won a prize why why why????????
If it goes on like this our rural talent wont come up.When r wee goin to develop .JUDGES like this judge (who dont know what is vista & NAsa )
we are going to LOOSE SOME good talent .YOU SAY INDIA NOT DEVELOPING THIS IS THE REASON NO RURAL TALENT IS JUDGED PERFECTLY
