my pc wouldn't turn ON but the mobo light was on, whatever i did it refused to turn ON. ( i had this issue few months back to and fixed it by its own in couple of days )

Now after 1-2 weeks suddenly this morning it powered up by fluke, However I cant get the display to work. Tried with different monitors and different hdmi but the display isnt working.

Whats the issue with my pc??

Did you check the RAM? Remove, clean and reinstall.

Hopefully that is what this is due to rains and moisture.

Sounds like he is scamming you . 1700x - the Cpu, can't be repaired. Plus unless you are running multiple GPUs, 650W psu whould be sufficient.

can you eloborate more, the display wasnt coming.
Display has nothing to do with processor without integrated graphics(aka all ryzen non-G processors & all intel "F" version processors have no integrated graphics). Also you can't repair processors, the best anyone can do is straighten out bent processor pins due to improper installation. Which psu you have currently? Don't buy that 700W psu as most Indian pc shop keepers like to peddle high wattage low quality psu as they get higher commission on selling these models compared to good psu models. Currently the best budget psu series is corsair CX450/550/650(white grey label 2017 version with 5 years warranty) which you can get from primeabgb on lamington road(they have their own site too for selling stuff). Since graphics is the issue then it is most likely graphics card as I doubt hdmi port on graphics card as well as hdmi port on mobo both going bad at the same time.

prime has been shut / not answering or not replying to the email as well - thats the only problem, I went to nageshwar infosys oppsosite to prime who tried to scam me, anyway since I was a bit desperate I ended buying the 700wat power supply. After I purchased he offered me to repair my old psu for 500rs - fraudsters

I still got mt old 650wat corsair, bought it from prime 2 years back but i cant find the bill. How to repair it?

I feel you bro , I too have been scammed by local resellers, never trust them.

I think the only thing you can try now is change the cpu or the Mobo......

Just ask him if he is gonna repair the silicon wafers of 1700x. And do check the CPU once you get it, As chances are that he may have changed it with an older faulty 1700x, Taken from CPU of another customer or so.

For that, u will need to do a detailed analysis. Check out the output of PSU with a multimeter and inspect its PCB. If it is low like +- 2-3 volts, then some capacitor or resistor wud have been blown up and can be fixed through proper inspection of PCB and changing the burnt one. But if the issue is with the choke coil, you will be able to hear some noise.

But if none of the above worked, And there is no sign of burnt component, Use the multimeter and check the values of respective resistors.

This thing will definitely help. Also, attach a clear photo of PSU's PCB

Have you checked their site?

Navi Mumbai & Pune shipments are delayed as per ticker on their site. Which 700w psu that shop sold you anyway?

Cool, yeah I was damn sure PSUs and CPUs can't be fixed, that reseller def. needs some councilling:)

PSU's can be repaired. Rather I had earlier repaired two of my PSU's. But CPU's cant. That is basically a sandwich of two sillicon wafers. And no way those Billionas transisitors can be repaired.

Here I have also listed how to do that...

your PSU and the original power plug shall be enough to claim warranty .. corsair replaces PSU. Without bill you shall get warranty starting from the date of manufacture of the PSU unit. Better post a snapshot of the PSU label here or just take it corsair authorized service center ( I think Kaizen ) to check.

I mean yeah, it CAN be done , but it would be such a pain , and you can't expect the average joe to do it.

For instance and average joe would need those -:

1. Multimeter.
2.replacement resistors.
3.Expertise of attaching the resistors to the pcb.

Before he can even hope to repair the PSU himself. And even if the PSU works chances are it would get faulty eventually bcoz burnt PSUs are generally a result of bad manufacturing and user error in accessing the wattage instead of a random burn..............

The key word here being generally, like for your case all of this dosen't apply :)
