hello guys.......

this is my first post at DIGIT Forum...

Guys, I need your help in purchasing a MB, 4 GB DDR3 RAM and a 2 GB graphics card.

Currently, i have Intel core i3-540 processor (4 MB Cache, 3.06 Ghz) and a 2 GB DDR3 1333 simmtronnics RAM and 500 WD Hard disk.

Now i want to purchase a MB (should be compatible with above mentioned processor), a 4 GB DDR3 RAM (should match and work perfectly with my 2 GB DDR3 1333 simmtronnics RAM) and a 2 GB graphics card (should be compatible and work perfectly by integrating all above mentioned components). Guys please suggest me the best components since i am confused as market is full with lots of MBs and graphics cards.

Note: Please consider that i want to play top-most games at maximum settings with my updated system. (For Instance NFSMW 2012, COD all series, Battlefield all series, DMC all series, Max Payne all series and so on. ) One important thing is that my budget for all {a MB + 4 GB DDR3 RAM and a 2 GB graphics card} is under 10 thousands.

Finding a H55 motherboard now is very difficult, try to get ASUS P7H55 series and make sure you overclock your CPU to get some extra juice since 1st gen i3s are not limited by any overclocking restrictions.. I have no idea about the pricing now as it has gone extinct from the market
For the RAM, go with Kingston Value 4 GB or Corsair ValueSelect 1333mhz RAM .. Its a good idea to install CPU-Z and check your RAM Latency before buying RAM as using RAM with non matching latency can cause some problems.. If you dont have mobo, then try installing the RAM onto a friend's PC and check the latency

For the GPU, its really impossible to include a proper gaming GPU within that budget, id say save up for a better GPU like a 750 ti or atleast a R7 250X.. Even Rs 20k GPUs like R9 280 cannot max out all the games that are available right now, so getting a proper gaming GPU, is important if you want to atleast play games in the future..

suggestion....please also tell me that what does CPU overclocking means and how to do this overclocking? I am asking this since I am a beginner in digital world and i really don't know what does overclocking means.

that mobo mentioned will be around 2.8k now if u can find it its very good for the mentioned cpu

no offence to @op. but since u bought a simmtronics ram i suugest you stay from overclocking.

Don't waste money on a low end graphics card if you already have i3-540.Aim for at least a 6670 gddr5 for ~3k else skip it for now & save money to buy a decent graphics card later.When buying from olx always test the item first by meeting seller.

No you cannot, H61 series motherboard use the LGA 1155 processor socket that is designed for 2nd generation Intel i series processors..your i3 540 is first gen processor having LGA 1156..
Honestly, it is very difficult to find a compatible motherboard for your processor now, i think its best if you fully upgrade your processor and mobo

Hi guys.....after finding a lot, finally I got a chinese motherboard for my Intel first generation processor.....also I had purchased a 2 GB nvidia gainward ddr3 graphics card and irivine 2 GB ddr3 RAM

Now the best thing is that now my rig will able to play almost all high-end games......last night, I had installed Max Payne 3 for only assuring that is it my PC will able to play high-end games or not...? I got my answer.....obviously it is yes. MP3 is really an outstanding game with awesome graphics......
