Want to buy a SSD for attaching with Gig A320

Hi friends

A SSD is needed for attaching to with Gigabyte A320 mobo. Please tell which one is better and how much capacity of SSD would be enough for OS and apps ?

Budget 5K

Kingston A2000 or WD SN550 500GB for M.2 NVMe, otherwise Crucial MX500 2.5" 500GB. Right now MX500 & SN550 are 5.2k on amazon.

Buy at least 240GB storage for OS! here's some suggestion-

Budget: Adata SU650 , crucial bx500, Seagate Barracuda Q5, Crucial MX500

Premium: Samsung 860 EVO, Samsung 970 EVO Plus, A-DATA XPG GAMMIX S11 Pro

MX500 & 860 evo are top tier SATA SSDs, so aren't exactly budget. Since both perform similarly, MX500 is easily the better value because of the cheaper price.

Even budget TLC NVMe drives, like the ones I suggested, will outperform top tier SATA SSDs if a mobo has a free M.2 NVMe slot.

Yes, I've mentioned 860 evo as premium range ssd, mx500 is mid-high end but budget friendly!
