Hi Arjot,

Just check this : HP ENVY 15-j111tx Notebook PC , I just came accross this. The specs are powerful . But what lays down is the graphis card which is NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M (2 GB DDR3 dedicated) incomparision with 800 cards (new), also the screen is not IPS.
OR else u can check out Alienware new 17 .. but too costly .. thanks. :)

why will he spend 70k+ bucks juz for a nvidia 740m,moreover its not full HD....even the 55k lenovo z510 has i7 4702MQ+ nvidia gt 740m 2GB and HD display.......
rather get a lenovo y50...the GTX series GPU is much bettr + full HD display + the sleek stylish look......the screen being the only drawback(thats what some people are claiming, not sure though)....or u can think about the asus one too,it fits ur budget.....

+1 for Lenovo Y50

Lenovo Y50.

hey...(juz a mere query about HP)...i dont understand why people buy the HP envy series laptops like j048tx/j111tx for 68-70k when almost same specs(i7 4700m+nvidia 740m vs i7 4702MQ+740m) are available in z510 for 55k....do u have any idea why HP priced it so high?? is it for looks n build quality?? i have heard HP-i7s has heating issues too....still i find several people recommending envy series...

Its because of the brand name. Most people just see core i7 and 2GB graphic card.
