Need advice buy 40"-42" HD Tv under 40-43k, is LG-42LG80FR good choice?

We decided buy TV which will have large screen,Likely 40"-42".Should give crisp display quality should able to play HD content as PURE HD by true mean.now pretty much confused LCD and plasma regarding quality and life span.product should have good life span.My budget is from 40K-43K.
I found out deal for LG-42LG80FR for 40k.Is it really good or is there any other good alternative?What is your advice.
