visual studio 2010 in amd a8

hello everyone.
my question is not specifically regarding programming.
but i think this is the best place where i can get my answer.
i have heard that running visual studio in AMD(quad core), AMD-A8 specifically creates some problems?
it hangs and lags a lot?
is this true?

Basically If you want to run Visual studio 2010 then you will require 1.6GHz or a faster processor and 1GB of RAM. Hence if you buy AMD A8 then it will come with 2.9GHz processor and there is no need to worry about “Hang” or any other problem.
