wtf have they done to the pwr buttons ... cant even restart the damn pc

how do i have a normal restart in vista???????

windows button (start) > click on the right arrow head next to the lock computer button > restart

i just installed the trial version of vista on my pc and i must say its damn slow on 512mb ram as expected. i'm trying every possible thing to squeeze out the last bit of performance... i may go back to xp...

slow ....!!!!!!!!! its not at all slow on my comp ... its wrking like a charm ... a little bit of lag but thats ok

U can also change the setting of the power button from "Power Settings" in Control Panel. U can set it to restart/shutdown/hibernate/sleep.

^^ that was what actually frustrated me so much that i asked here ... there is restart option under power settings

i allocated more ram for my igp chipset... i did notice difference in rendering speed... its quite bearable now! in the process of tweaking services...
