What are the minimum requirements to install Vista. Give also the recommended requirements.When Vista will be commercially available, what will be the minimum requirements for the best edition of Vista.

@gxsaurav, M$ always gives the wrong info!! Remember what Microsoft said when it
released Windows 98? PC Config with 64 MB RAM!!! That's the bare minmum RAM
required below that Windows 98 will not boot, also for good performance you need
atleast 128 MB RAM!! In Vista's case you need atleast 512 MB RAM (minimum).
1 GB RAM recommended with a good GC capable of supporting DirectX 9.0 with
WDDM driver, Pixel Shader 2.0, & 32 bits/pixel.

Vista is system hungry.i think if you want to run fast then you must have 3GB RAM and a good graphic card.
