Very slow wireless tranfer speeds

I have a Xiaomi Mi router 3 and asus DSL N10E ADSL modem router. When I try to transfer files files from PC to mobile accessing via solid explorer, speeds are very slow around 3MBPS. I have tried connecting PC to both ASUS router or through Mi router using CAT 6 cable but no change in speed.

It could the protocol that your app uses. Try ES FileExplorer.

I used SMB/LAN option. How to use any other protocol. ES File explorer also gave same results

You will have to do some trial and error. Factors affecting the transfer speed are

1. Link speed

This is determined by your router's capacity

2. Adapter on PC

3. Adapter on mobile

Which modem is your router in ? Does DSL N10E ADSL modem router support N mode ( 802.11 ). You can find it in modem's manual.

Most likely scenario is lack of support for N mode. I am making guesses here. You have to try a few things before you can confim things. Try transferring through an USB cable with the same set of devices. Note down the speed you are getting in file transfer

Make sure you have the router on a clean channel. Many "Wi-Fi analyzer" software tools can find interference from other Wi-Fi products.
