I have a Dell studio 15 running Windows Vista and openSUSE 11.1 with an Intel 5xxx Wi-Fi network adapter and I have a tata indicom photon whiz mobile internet connection.
In Windows vista, I start a new Wi-Fi connection in ad-hoc mode, and setup all parameters. I have a Nokia E63 which detects the connection and I am able to connect but when I try to use internet on my phone, it gives an error message saying 'Feature not supported'. I have enabled ICS for my network, but despite that I'm not able to use it on my phone.
Is it possible to do using openSUSE or Vista.. either is fine with me. I'm able to use my tata photon connection on both the OSes.
Any help is greatly appreciated. thanks.
