USB External Hard disk error.while removing it .

Hi

i have purchased 160 GB WD ext hard disk.Whenever i am trying to unplug it the way mentioned in userguide i am getting following error.pls suggest solution for it .

Whenever any program access files, it creates locks on them, so that other program cannot modify them and such inconsistancy is prevented. But many times, system will not release locks and hence the error.

Use programs like Unlocker to release locks. Then you will be able to remove it safe way.
