Usb 2 usb connection between 2 pc's

is it possible to connect two PC's using usb port to usb port connection. ?

will this trick work with normal usb - usb cable . ? coz not sure whether they are A/A cable or A/B cable.

has anyone tried such methods earlier and succeeded. ?

Just a USB cable wont do.. You need a Bridge chip to enable 2 way conns.. I think some1 in the forum was going to try this long back..

last time i saw (abt an year back) it was about 750 bucks. i dun remember the company or the model no. tho. you will obviously need A/A cable.

well dunno the company , but it is available on lamington road street shops.
