this is all about my old PC which i bought in year 2002.It has mercury 810 motherboard with intel chipset.The processor is P3 1 Ghz.Recently i bought a new PC and now i want to sell the older one.
as u might know,810 MB has all the ports not onboard except for the keyboard PS/2 port.and its not original PS/2(Purple) but a port with larger diameter,so needs a converter.I had this converter and the keyboard worked fine.It also has ps/2 port (not onboard) for mouse(green).Now,the purple port is not working.So,i tried ps/2 to usb converter for keyboard,it worked on other machine(even with the similar motherboard),but it didn't work with my motherboard,the reason was in bios the USB support wasn't enabled(i guess).But,how can i get into BIOS without pressing DEL as the keyboard is not working.i tried with the mouse ps/2 port(green) but it doesn't seem to support keyboard.So any solution guyz?
I want to know can i get keyboard ps/2 port for the motherboard?
I need it very soon,otherwise i can't sell it.
