Is upgrading from windows 8 to 8.1 safe.i know its a free upgrade but have read abt its failures also.my lappie has original win 8.
if you take any precautions like backup your data, create an image of your entire OS partition with software like acronis true image then there should not be anything to worry about. If anything goes wrong you can always restore the backup image you have taken with acronis true image.
