United States Air Force to upgrade to Windows 7 | Defence Aviation
OK. I am actually confused by this news. Is this a marketing strategy by Microsoft, United States Airforce is too dumb or is this is just a diversion?
How can a military division use something like windows in their systems and call and I quote "In a continuing effort to meet emerging threats, Air Force officials initiated the service-wide upgrade of operating systems to Windows 7"
I am not a windows hater, linux lover or a apple fan boy. I am just saying wouldn't it be wise if the military used something more secure and stable than windows 7.
What do you guys think?
