Uninstalling problem

Hi Guys,

I uninstalled Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0.2900 and Microsoft Outlook Express 6 through ADD OR REMOVE PROGRAMS. Though they are not on ADD OR REMOVE PROGRAMS, they are still on my computer and they both work well. How to UNINSTALL them completely?

Just try deleting the folders related to them manually.

Try delete from program files.

Don't delete those folders from Program files, otherwise u'll face so many errors and most of ur programs might not work properly! Forget to remove IE completely from windows. Its hardcoded into shell and most of programs depend upon it

better reinstall them(even though they work), otherwise problems will definitely emerge one of these days...

try to uninstall it from the "Add/Remove windows components" option in add/remove programs....
there u can find all the default programs of windows....
just uncheck the internet explorer......
and for the outlook express try to reinstall the microsoft office and uncheck the outlook express this time....

It'll not uninstall Internet Explorer but only remove its entry from Start menu

I'll again suggest not to remove it from the system

I meant if u deselect Internet Explorer from Add/Remove Program List, it'll not completely uninstall it from the system, but it'll only remove its shortcut
