Ubuntu 5.04 (the hoary hedgehog release) is out.

kubuntu is based on ubuntu, but it has KDE 3.4 instead of GNOME

heh, old news.. I downloaded KUbuntu Hoary a month back..

Did you download and use the preview release of the Hoary?
Because I thought the official final release was on 08 April 2005.
