Hey guys,
Planning to purchase ps5 once it's available.
So need suggestion for TV

1. Budget? Idk not looking for one of those flashy tv, looking for something around 50k ish provided it can game at a stable 60 fps
2. Display type and size? Whatever is best for some good gaming experience. 50 inch or above I guess
3. What will the TV/monitor be used for primarily? Predominantly for gaming
4. Types and number of ports required? Is hdmi 2.1 available in this budget?
5. Preferred choice of brand? I don't think lg or Sammy would be available in this bracket
6. Any TV/monitor in consideration? Not really
7. Any other info that you want to share.
Sale is going on and I can purchase tomorrow as well so all the suggestions are welcome

I think Mi QLED has auto low latency mode which gets enabled when you plug in PS5 in HDMI 2.1. Wait for more reviews, if someone puts a review good, otherwise go through user reviews.

Although for just SP games, you can go for cheaper TVs like new Nokia 55" TV with Onkyo soundbar, seems good on paper, 420nits + 512 dimming zones, good 48W soundbar included but no Dolby vision. You can also check Vu Premium 55". No sure how these will perform in terms of response times though.

For something branded, Samsung The Frame (2020) is 79k & has a 4K 120Hz panel along with HDMI 2.1. For some reason, it is relatively cheaper in India compared to other countries & other models.

That's the problem brands are about to hike 10%. That's a saving for me in case I can grab something good enough.
MI TV I've no idea about hdr but one thing which is very important is fluid gaming experience on 4k. I don't think 120 would be possible but a decent 60 fps is something I'm looking for.

Nokia seems decent but its just something wayy too new for a TV

Don't buy from small brands if you live in a small town/city without its service centre.
Though I'm in Delhi but I don't really want to buy these new brands. MI atleast has some market value on that front. But idk about the gaming capability and similarly is with vu.

There are no detailed reviews for any of the TVs from small brands. TCL & HiSense has some good TVs abroad but not the same models are brought to India (esp TCL brings some bad TVs here).

Maybe just increase budget & get Samsung TU8000:

Samsung TU8000 Review (UN43TU8000FXZA, UN50TU8000FXZA, UN55TU8000FXZA, UN65TU8000FXZA, UN75TU8000FXZA, UN85TU8000FXZA)
It is better than the cheapest Samsung & LG models which have inferior panel to those 40k Chinese TVs. Even TU8000 lacks some features that budget TVs have but its a good option for a Samsung. Maybe it will be bit cheaper locally, I can see its 50" variant for 54.5k in Croma. You should get some good deals in Delhi.

Let me check this one out but I've read about this somewhere and it doesn't go dim in the dark, which would be a problem.
Otherwise I'll pay a visit to some offline stores
