TV recommendation for neighbour aunty

2. Display type and size? 40
3. What will the TV/monitor be used for primarily? initially DTH, gradually some OTT / streaming apps like yt, prime, hotstar etc. as I introduce her to all these.
4. Types and number of ports required? whatever is best
5. Preferred choice of brand? None
6. Any TV/monitor in consideration? No
7. Any other info that you want to share. Currently using an old one Sony Bravia with tatasky dth for some entertainment. checked but Sony models are very costly compared to others.

Vu has some good budget models in this price range, you can buy extra 2 years warranty for ~1.5-2k for more peace of mind.

just googled and reached flipkart page. selected Vu and got this

Opened first entry, checked it, read some reviews & clicked on all reviews. one review said it is not 1920 X 1080 so googled full name and selected Amazon entry. Noticed the price difference 18999 here but only 16999 in flipkart.

clicked on the other tab showing reviews. clicked back and immediately price changed on flipkart page

As far as I know only 32" models come in 720p version, anything larger comes at least in full HD 1080p resolution only. Make sure to buy online only from seller with good rating & lots of reviews(preferably 1000+ over 2+ years).
