My bros ancient Toshiba Satellite with AMD Turion is on it's last legs...random BSODs and crashes, most probably faulty RAM... But I admire the laptop cause it's been abused to the max for many years and most of the days it's running 24/7.. so he's looking for a new laptop
1) What is your budget? (INR or USD)
INR 60,000 (can maybe stretch upto 5000 more)
2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?
Will spend most of it's time on a desk so dosent matter
3) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
Not really, any brand will do as long as the model is reliable.
4) What are the primary tasks will you be performing with this notebook?
1080p Movies, Music (good speakers are a must), Web Browsing
5) What screen resolution(s) & type (glossy/matte) would you prefer?
If available, matte 1080p display
6) Anything else you would like to say? (eg: local purchase, ASS,matte/glossy finish)
Since windows 8 is released, looking at a touchscreen laptop with windows 8 (are these models released in India?)
