Which is a reliable app/software to recover deleted text messages from a non-rooted Android phone?

Ah. Brother deleted few official texts by mistake. There are few photo recovery one's so I tried few SMS recovery apps but they weren't finding much texts so asked for a suggestion.

Nobody could help you if you need recover data without root phone.That's principle for the third party software worked.But if you could root your phone first,many recovery tool could you help,they are safe,don't worry.

Rooting would cause many apps to stop working, so don't wanna root. Yes xposed module is there but don't have time for that.

Jab kismat ho gandu to kya karega pandu. Mobikin requires root so end of the story. Many months have passed, I am still suffering as I deleted those messages.

If you only recover the photos,videos, music, documents.It's ok to do it without rooting the device.
But you want recover the text message,all the software need you root your phone first.
That's principle for the third party software worked.
