According to their claims its built on Omega architechture. Omega architecture has been jointly developed by Tata Motors and Jaguar Land Rover.

For comparisions Tata Harrier, Mahindra XUV500, Nexon sized up - Big, Bigger, Biggest The author seems a bit biased for me harrier looks better than the xuv 500 in every way.Height and fuel tank may be less but it has better ground clearence.
