Tablet or Laptop

Dear Forum,

I do work on MS Word & MS Excel mostly.
Please suggest me a Tab or Laptop for this need. Under 20,000/-

I doubt anybody would be happy without a physical keyboard when working with MS Office applications so better go for laptop only & this budget is quite low so very few choices of laptop models.

Increase budget to 25k & get any laptop from Dell/HP/Acer/Lenovo with at least i3 6th gen, 4GB RAM, 1TB HDD & Win10. Those pentium quad core, celeron & AMD A4/A6/E CPUs are not worth having in 2019. If you buy them, you will regret it in few months. 15k smartphones have a better CPU (S660) than those weak laptop CPUs.

This one is a great choice at 25k, it even has a 1080p display which is rare under 40k:

Ryzen 3 CPU is good for the price.

Tablet market is dwindling. I don't think there are any good budget tablets in India. USA has Amazon Fire tabs, but that's it. In the premium space iPads are selling, but I personally think tablet is a good to have electronic device if you already have a smartphone & a laptop. Initially tablets started taking away sales from laptops but people realized it ain't as useful as it looks, so tablet market has diminished & laptops are still going strong, maybe stronger than it ever was.

What does no disk drive mean in the photos of that laptop?
