Hi Everyone,
I have only recently started gaming on my main PC. My PC is powered by an APC BACK-UPS 800VA 230V that is close to five years old. As mentioned in the thread title, every time there is a powercut and I happen to be gaming at that time, the system suddenly reboots. It doesn't happen if the system is idle or some lighter task is being run. Despite the age of the UPS, it easily provides over 10 minutes of backup (maybe even more, haven't tested).
My PSU is the Corsair CX430, which is about three years old. Even at load, I doubt whether my PC consumes more than 300-350 watts.
Any insights on what could be the reason? I am not averse to upgrading either the UPS or the PSU, but clueless about the actual culprit behind the problem.
PC Specs:
i7 4770
24GB RAM
500GB SSD, 1 TB HDD, 2TB HDD
Corsair CX 430 PSU
Nvidia GTX 750 ti
Thanks,
Rituraj
