1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')nly for image rendering not videos though)
Primary purpose will be gaming only.
Ans: Multimedia(movies and all),Gaming( farcry4,arkham knight,ac syndicate,Gta 5,saints row series,cod series,mostly RPGs and shooting games),Ms office,A bit of coding(Eclipse,C,jawa,html),may do some photoshop and lightroom in future(o

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans:30000-35000

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: Yes in Future

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:Windows (8-10)

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans:1Tb will suffice

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans:Monitor is not needed yet, will use my old one till next year.

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans:I dont wanna buy Keyboard,Mouse,UPS,Monitor,Speakers, Basically will only be building up the Cabinet from scratch

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans:Within a month

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans:Yes,assembled around 2 PCs a long time ago,Neither for gaming purposes.

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans:New Delhi, Both Nehru Place and online is OK with me,whichever is cheaper.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: Few components i have in mind, here goes

Amd FX8320 gonna go with the stock cooler as of now,its only a lil noisy but efficient.

Asus M5A78L-M/USB3 Motherboard(as it has onboard Graphics chip and cheaper) or MSI 990FXA-GD65 V2 Motherboard/Asus M5A97 Motherboard(both better for gaming and OC)

Corsair VS550 550 Watt PSU/Circle APFC 500 Watts PSU

Any good cabinet between 1.5-2k range, preferably full tower.

Kingston HyperX FURY Memory DDR3 8 GB 1866 CL10 or 4X2gb same config

WD blue 1tb or Seagate Barracuda 1Tb

As for Graphics card,I'm confused, should I buy a 1gb ddr5 now,or wait till next year and get a better one then as a lil tight on budget right now.
also without the graphics card, will I be able to play farcry 4 and gta5 like games on SD?? (as my monitor is not even 720p right now)

Help and suggestions are appreciated thanks in advance :lol:

Its dell 19-20" LCD,dont remember the model number, but doesnt have any HDMI port at the back
Although will be plugging in my Toshiba LCD(720p,32") via HDMI at times till I get a new monitor.

Is there any specific reason you went with FX6 instead of 8320 apart from the price??As in is there something wrong with 8320,or will it draw more power to deliver same performance as FX6,thats y not worth spending those extra bucks. (just curious)

750ti would be ok for 768p gaming now but its EOL. As games become more demanding, it'll be better to either get GTX 960 or wait for AMD's 300 series unusually high rates in India to go down.

so whats your take on buying used GPUs?
and if the given Mobo be suitable for 960?

the config given by @bssunilreddy wont last for another year or two??
really confused now, :-?

Its better to add in another 20k to the initial 35k and have a long time build which will last another 3-4 years.

Its best to go with a new GPU than a used one if the price is same right. If you are going for a better GPU then a better Mobo is also needed right even though H81M-S1 Mobo is sufficient B85M-D3H adds more flavour.

Do tell us what you have decided.

so finally thought of going with i5 4460,costing me around 11500 in nehru place
now the question is mobo.
i chose Gigabyte B85 d3h,which was costing me around 5400,
all is great in the mobo, but the problem is,m gonna buy kingston hyperx 1866 memory, and the mobo apparently only supports upto 1600
I really wana use the memory at 1866,but dont wana increase my budget on mobo too much
so another choice i thought of was MSI Z87M-G43,which was costing around 6k,
But the reviews of MSI arent that good,

Kindly suggest me,should i go with GIGBYT or MSI. :-?

Go with MSI H97 PC Mate @ 6500 (local price) so that you can use your 1866Mhz RAM without any restrictions.OK.

Or

Go with Gigabyte B85M-D3H @ 5500 (local price) by setting your RAM speed to 1600Mhz.OK.

Its your decision finally.

Also i5 4440 has a limit of 1600mhz for memory,so i would have to oc the ram to make ot work at 1866,although the ram is rated at 1866.but i5 aint
