Confuse which to suggest him.

Suggest one of these...?

OR advice him to extend budget little bit if he can and go for one of these.

His current cabinet is of Circle. Any issue of cabinet?
And Gigabyte superb 460W will be sufficient for one of these...?

^^ Gigabyte suberb 460 can handle a 6850 easily. Ask your friend to up his budget and go for 6850. Its the best for its price and is really low in power consumption.

i guess his resolution is of 1920x1080 pixels
then he requires at least HD 5770 1gb @ 7.4k to play at that resolution
ask him to increase a bit

his PSU is pretty good and can easily handle HD 6850 too as vicky said

but if his cabinet is small, then he might have some problems
you need to check if his cabinet has enough space to put a med size card
HD 5770 is 21.9 X 12 X 4 cm (HxWxD)
so you get the idea?
