1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: Mild/Heavy Gaming (BF4, FarCry 3, Skyrim Ultra Modded, Assassin's Creed, Warframe, Borderlands 1/2, etc. )
Video Rendering with Adobe Premiere and GFX using Photoshop and Illustrator.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: 80~85K

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: Yes

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Windows, Linux. Dual Boot.

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: 1TB or more preferable.

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: A 21~24 inch LED monitor would be nice.

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: Optical Drive, Mouse, Keyboard

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: Next Month

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: I've built a desktop before, I plan to build this new one by myself too.

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Shillong, Meghalaya. Online/Local whichever is more cheaper or convenient.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: I will be also using this rig for rendering, I don't really mind if it's either Intel or AMD but it must get the job done. I also require a decent USP. Please include a Case/Cabinet too!

Thank you in advanced.

Cheers,
wakkun

I like this build a lot. I've used Corsair Vengeance RAM before, how different will performance be from the Kingston HyperX?

I've heard good things about BenQ monitors, would you recommend me buying one? If Yes, which model?

Also, can someone also suggest an AMD build for the same budget? I'm OK with AMD too.

bssunil : Where do u get a 8gb hyperxfury for 4.5k.....
The corsair 200r sells for 3.7k,U must have mistaken it for 300r which costs 4.8k
It is better to opt a Xeon in a 80k configuration

What rendering? please be specific. Image/photo shop rendering? Video rendering, rendering using architectural tools?

Video Rendering using Premiere, and GFX using Photoshop.

Many part's aren't really available locally, should I buy them online? If yes, where from?

These sites are sweet, they really need more advertising.

Nah they dont need one. Because they are popular in their cities[offline store] so online is just a heads up. You can't use your cards on these sites [may be] instead pay them via NEFT transfers
